M.S. (Master of Science)

• Thesis Option: 24 graduate coursework credits plus 6 research credits and a thesis defense.
• Non-Thesis Option: 30 graduate coursework credits and a final essay-based comprehensive requirement.

Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy)

• Direct-Admit Ph.D. (from B.S.): Minimum 30 graduate coursework credits plus 14 dissertation research credits.
• Traditional Ph.D. (post-M.S.): Minimum 18 graduate coursework credits plus 14 dissertation research credits.
