Student Groups

The following are Civil & Environmental Engineering student groups. A list of college-wide student groups can be found here.

ACI

The student chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is dedicated to raising awareness of concrete as a building material and supporting sustainable construction through responsible engineering. Despite a very recent beginning, the chapter is off to a strong start in membership and activities with big plans for the future. By working closely with industry professionals, the chapter can provide students opportunities and resources that will help them in their future careers.

Agc

Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) student chapter is an independent chapter of the AGC of Utah chapter. AGC is an organization for civil engineers that are interested the building side of engineering. The student chapter's goal is to help introduce students to contractors and the construction experience.

asce

The student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is a group that encompasses all civil engineering disciplines. ASCE organizes many events that create opportunities for students to network with professional engineers in the community. We work closely with recent graduates working in the industry who can give students advice on being successful engineers. Our chapter encourages students to become active in competitions and activities that apply their knowledge to real engineering problems, and to have a little fun at the same time.
