POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: MATERIALS AND GEOTECHNICAL
The University of Utah Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for outstanding candidates to a faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level (tenure track). The successful candidate must demonstrate a successful extramurally funded research record in areas that will compliment the department’s expanding research of materials, portland cement concrete, asphalt concrete, or geotechnical/foundations engineering with emphasis on the characterization and interaction of materials/soils and the performance of infrastructure systems such as pavements, bridges and buildings, etc. Expertise might include, but are not limited to, innovative approaches to mechanistic modeling, experimental experience in pavement materials and geosystems, rapid construction and replacement of pavements, foundation and embankment systems, and infrastructure sustainability.I invite you to look over the information provided on this website.Initial screening of applicants will begin October 15th, 2007 and will continue until the position is filled. POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Environmental Engineering. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in environmental engineering and develop a strong externally funded research program that contributes to the overall growth of the department.
