JOB TITLE: Engineering Intern
DEPARTMENT: Engineering

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides support to the Engineering staff, drafts engineering documents and utility maps for the
public works department, writes reports and assists in answering questions, conducts research of
special projects and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have at least 30 hours of engineering coursework (primarily in civil engineering),
and a working knowledge of Autocad software.


Salary $11.90/hr with no benefits. This is a part-time position available year round with flexible
hours, not to exceed a yearly average of 20 hours per week. Must submit a completed Draper City

USDA Forest Service

The Region 4 Regional Office will soon be filling a Student Temporary Employment position in the Regional Office Engineering Staff, Structures Group, Civil Engineer. The position would require part time work during the school year (hours negotiable) and full time work during the summer. The student
would be working with the structural design group and should have a desire to continue in structural design in their schooling. The applicant must be currently enrolled in school and planning
