Admissions
Minimum Course Requirements
The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering requires all entering graduates to have taken specific courses to enter into the graduate program. Most students with a B.S. in Civil Engineering will meet these requirements. Students with B.S. degrees in other areas need to take the courses identified in the general list & those in the research area they are applying to. If you are deficient in any of the course requirements you will need to take them the first semester that you have the prerequisites completed. These courses do not count toward a student's graduate degree. The list of classes can be found in the Department Handbook.
